El encuentro consolid\u00f3 su posici\u00f3n en el \u00e1rea cient\u00edfica y profesional m\u00e1s relevantes para la industria porcina a nivel europeo y por qu\u00e9 no del mundo. La edici\u00f3n destac\u00f3 por reunir a m\u00e1s de 1.500 asistentes de 50 pa\u00edses, sirviendo como un n\u00facleo de conexi\u00f3n clave para m\u00e9dicos veterinarios, investigadores y l\u00edderes del sector ganadero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El evento incluy\u00f3 el desarrollo de un programa cient\u00edfico integral con ponentes de renombre mundial, sesiones paralelas, mesas redondas e innumerables oportunidades para establecer contactos e intercambiar conocimientos. Centr\u00f3 sus debates en la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, la prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades y los sistemas de producci\u00f3n sostenible. Se profundizaron estrategias frente al virus del PRRS y la influenza porcina, junto con herramientas de bioseguridad en granja. Adem\u00e1s, se abordaron temas como la resistencia antimicrobiana, la nutrici\u00f3n de precisi\u00f3n para el rendimiento de lechones y enfoques pr\u00e1cticos de bienestar animal seg\u00fan las normativas europeas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este contexto los acad\u00e9micos Fernanda Larenas Mu\u00f1oz, Reinaldo Letelier Contreras y \u00c1lvaro Ruiz Garrido, presentaron 5 trabajos en formato de p\u00f3ster, los cuales abordaron desaf\u00edos prioritarios para la sanidad porcina chilena: vigilancia de pat\u00f3genos bacterianos, caracterizaci\u00f3n molecular de agentes infecciosos, resistencia antimicrobiana y prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades ex\u00f3ticas de alto impacto econ\u00f3mico, contribuyendo al fortalecimiento de la bioseguridad y la sostenibilidad del sector porcino nacional. Destaca la participaci\u00f3n de Francisca Videla Mart\u00ednez, exalumna titulada de la Facultad, quien adem\u00e1s aspira a realizar un programa de doctorado fuera de Chile, presentando el resumen sobre \u201cCaracterizaci\u00f3n molecular de factores de virulencia de ETEC en sistemas de producci\u00f3n porcina de Chile\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
