Paula G\u00e4dicke destac\u00f3 que en \u00e9poca estival se mantiene el contacto y el trabajo colaborativo, con quienes conforman esta mesa que inicialmente naci\u00f3 como la mesa de Marea Roja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNosotros como Facultad participamos desde hace tiempo, al igual que expertos de la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Oceanogr\u00e1ficas Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n. Esta mesa est\u00e1 conformada por representantes de Seremis, Sernapesca, SAG, IFOP, laboratorio de biotoxinas UdeC, Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias UdeC, entre otras autoridades, para abordar medidas preventivas y fiscalizar la marea roja, adem\u00e1s de otros temas\u201d, precis\u00f3 la Dra. Paula G\u00e4dicke, quien adem\u00e1s es la Directora de Escuela de Veterinaria UdeC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan lo se\u00f1alado por la investigadora, la mesa de trabajo permanece durante todo el a\u00f1o desarrollando una serie de acciones, ya que, si bien es durante la primavera cuando se produce la floraci\u00f3n de las algas y es la \u00e9poca habitual en que puede surgir la marea roja, el trabajo de concientizaci\u00f3n se extiende durante todo el a\u00f1o. \u201cSiempre se est\u00e1n llevando a cabo ciertas labores relacionadas con la educaci\u00f3n, fiscalizaci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n. De hecho, hace algunos meses trabajamos con buzos y pescadores en la zona costera de \u00d1uble, espec\u00edficamente en Cobquecura, con quienes siempre es bueno estar revisando y conversando sobre las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, la normativa en torno a este tema de la marea roja, qu\u00e9 hacer si detectan toxinas en productos del mar, entre otros aspectos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En esta \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n uno de los temas que les llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n a los pescadores fue la metodolog\u00eda diagn\u00f3stica para detectar toxinas. \u201cPara buscar si es que un molusco tiene una\u00a0 importante carga t\u00f3xica, se realiza una prueba biol\u00f3gica y hoy\u00a0 existen avances moleculares que son t\u00e9cnicas m\u00e1s anal\u00edticas y m\u00e1s precisas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El monitoreo, los muestreos y las investigaciones sobre algas y microalgas es constante, ya que el objetivo es evitar casos de intoxicaci\u00f3n en la poblaci\u00f3n, por consumo de mariscos contaminados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a
