Para m\u00ed es una gran responsabilidad estar en esta comisi\u00f3n y espero entregar lo mejor de m\u00ed para para que en conjunto podamos hacer una buena contribuci\u00f3n. En mi caso particular llevo bastantes a\u00f1os en la Universidad, son 46 a\u00f1os desarrollando mi profesi\u00f3n aqu\u00ed, por lo que espero aportar un poco de la experiencia de haber vivido en esta casa de estudios superiores\u201d, manifest\u00f3 el Dr. P\u00e9rez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este sentido, es importante mencionar que el Dr. Rub\u00e9n P\u00e9rez ha ocupado diversos cargos acad\u00e9micos y administrativos. \u201cFui uno de los primeros docentes que en adjudicarme un Proyecto Fondecyt, algo que ha sido regular en el tiempo. Cada proyecto tiene una duraci\u00f3n entre 2 a 3 a\u00f1os, eso significa m\u00e1s o menos como 25 a\u00f1os desarrollando Proyectos Fondecyt. En mi vida acad\u00e9mica he realizado estad\u00edas de investigaci\u00f3n en Edimburgo- Escocia, Uppsala-Suecia, Toulouse-Francia, Barcelona-Espa\u00f1a, entre otras\u201d, sostuvo el acad\u00e9mico, quien record\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n algunos de sus cargos administrativos. \u201cEn los tiempos que \u00e9ramos una sola facultad, la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias y Forestales, durante un corto periodo fui director del Departamento de Medicina Veterinaria, Despu\u00e9s fui director de posgrado, y en el a\u00f1o 1998 hasta el 2004 fui decano de la Facultad, ya que fui reelecto\u201d, precis\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El acad\u00e9mico tambi\u00e9n ha sido par evaluador externo ARCU-SUR para le evaluaci\u00f3n de carreras de Medicina Veterinaria del Mercosur. Ha sido presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n de Evaluaci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica, presidente del Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico del 20 congreso de Medicina Veterinaria y actualmente se dedica a la docencia, en la asignatura de Farmacolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe mencionar que este proceso se est\u00e1 realizando, tal como lo han manifestado las autoridades acad\u00e9micas ya que los estatutos actuales fueron aprobados hace 32 a\u00f1os en un contexto internacional, nacional y de educaci\u00f3n superior distinto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La reforma de estatutos de la UdeC fue definida por el Consejo Acad\u00e9mico en marzo 2021, seguida de un acuerdo del Directorio, en junio de 2021, tiempo en que se han ido concretando diversos hitos, como este nombramiento
