La publicaci\u00f3n se enmarca en la colaboraci\u00f3n del grupo de Virolog\u00eda (Dres Ortega y Sandoval, alumnos Alberto Sandoval y Nhur-Aischa Zegpi) de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n con la Universidad de la Rep\u00fablica (Dr. Rub\u00e9n P\u00e9rez, Dra Yanina Panzera y Dra. Sofia Grecco), Universidad de Chile (Dr. V\u00edctor Neira) y Universidad de Los Lagos (Dra. Constanza Napolitano). Adem\u00e1s de otros acad\u00e9micos y ex-alumnos tesistas de Virolog\u00eda de la Facultad (Dres. Sergio Cofre, Daniel Gonzalez, Cristobal Castillo y Juan Mena, \u00e9stos \u00faltimos corresponden a los autores de correspondencia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El virus es detectado en un cuadro gastroent\u00e9rico en una gui\u00f1a del Centro de Rescate de Fauna Silvestre UdeC y en diversos tejidos en el examen postmorten, al an\u00e1lisis gen\u00e9tico se encuentran 3 mutaciones en la regi\u00f3n NS1 de genoma viral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este hallazgo es muy relevante por el peligro que representan los animales dom\u00e9sticos para la conservaci\u00f3n de las especies silvestres y refleja la susceptibilidad de la gui\u00f1a a este tipo de virus, debido a que anteriormente la Dra. Napolitano junto al Dr. Ortega, ya hab\u00edan descrito la infecci\u00f3n de esta especie con los virus de Leucemia Felina e Inmunodeficiencia felina<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(<a
