Pero no s\u00f3lo es una amenaza para la fauna nativa, tambi\u00e9n lo es para las personas, ya que es capaz de portar microorganismos capaces de producir importantes cuadros en el humano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cient\u00edficos de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n llevaron a cabo un estudio en la poblaci\u00f3n de visones m\u00e1s austral del mundo, en Isla Navarino \u2013adem\u00e1s de otras localidades. En este estudio se determin\u00f3 la presencia de cepas pat\u00f3genas de Leptospira y de Cryptosporidium. La primera es una bacteria capaz de producir la muerte en el humano si el diagn\u00f3stico no es temprano, mientras que el segundo puede ser un protozoo mortal en personas con inmunodeficiencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El control de esta especie, que ya llega a la Regi\u00f3n de La Araucan\u00eda, es esencial para proteger tanto la biodiversidad de nuestros
