Entonces expuse lo que hemos hecho en yeguas\u00a0 y explicamos algunos modelos que hemos realizado en vacas para entender el sistema\u201d, explic\u00f3 el experto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sobre la invitaci\u00f3n a participar en este congreso el profesional indic\u00f3 que, \u201cpara m\u00ed fue un honor, pero para la Facultad esto tambi\u00e9n es bueno, porque como Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n generamos expectativas en cuanto a qu\u00e9 es lo que se puede hacer, somos referente. De hecho luego de participar en el congreso se abri\u00f3 la instancia para que una estudiante realice una pasant\u00eda de tres semanas en nuestra Facultad, entonces eso habla del buen posicionamiento que tenemos como Facultad y por cierto como Universidad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La presentaci\u00f3n del Dr. Castro se bas\u00f3 en una investigaci\u00f3n que lleva desarrollando desde el a\u00f1o 2011, que parti\u00f3 analizando en vacas y que posteriormente deriv\u00f3 en yeguas. \u201cLo hicimos as\u00ed porque la yegua es m\u00e1s cara, es m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de trabajar, los due\u00f1os son bastante reacios a que trabajemos con ellas, as\u00ed que llevamos 6 a\u00f1os con esta investigaci\u00f3n 3 a\u00f1os con vacas y los otros tres con yeguas. Hoy en d\u00eda el cap\u00edtulo de vacas pr\u00e1cticamente se cerr\u00f3 porque sirvi\u00f3 para montar el sistema, as\u00ed que ahora estamos abocados completamente a la reproducci\u00f3n en yeguas que es m\u00e1s importante desde el punto de vista econ\u00f3mico\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dentro de los desaf\u00edos en esta materia, el Dr. Castro mencion\u00f3 la posibilidad de traspasar esta informaci\u00f3n a mascotas, principalmente perras que presenten problemas para reproducirse. \u201cEs un poco m\u00e1s complejo porque como son animales m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os, es m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil conseguir las c\u00e9lulas madre, pero es algo atractivo tambi\u00e9n de desarrollar\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3 el investigador.<\/p>\n<p><script>function
