{"id":1999,"date":"2017-05-24T10:50:07","date_gmt":"2017-05-24T13:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.veterinariaudec.cl\/sitio\/?p=1999"},"modified":"2017-05-24T10:50:07","modified_gmt":"2017-05-24T13:50:07","slug":"centro-de-rescate-y-rehabilitacion-de-fauna-silvestre-udec-recibe-distincion-municipal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vet.udec.cl\/sitio\/centro-de-rescate-y-rehabilitacion-de-fauna-silvestre-udec-recibe-distincion-municipal\/2017\/1999\/","title":{"rendered":"Centro de Rescate y Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de Fauna Silvestre UdeC recibe distinci\u00f3n municipal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El reconocimiento Municipal de Patrimonio 2017 en su categor\u00eda Natural, fue el que recibi\u00f3 recientemente el Centro de Rescate y Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de Fauna Silvestre de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al acto desarrollado en dependencia del municipio, asisti\u00f3 el Decano de esta Facultad, Dr. Patricio Rojas, quien junto a dos representantes del Centro, Paula Gallegos y Mar\u00eda Ignacia Najle, recibieron el premio en nombre del Dr. Daniel Gonz\u00e1lez, director de la entidad, quien se encuentra en el extranjero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la oportunidad el Decano agradeci\u00f3 la distinci\u00f3n y manifest\u00f3 que \u201cexpresamos nuestra mayor valoraci\u00f3n a la iniciativa de la municipalidad ya que sin duda contribuye a visibilizar la actividad realizada, con una alta dedicaci\u00f3n de profesionales y voluntarios cuyo objetivo es la preservaci\u00f3n de la Fauna Silvestre, la que es un patrimonio de toda la comunidad, siendo una responsabilidad social su preservaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe destacar que el Centro de Rescate y Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de la UdeC, cuyas dependencias se encuentran f\u00edsicamente ubicadas en la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias, Campus Chill\u00e1n, fue creado en el a\u00f1o 2004 y desde esa fecha su director es el Dr. Daniel Gonz\u00e1lez. Para su funcionamiento se coordina con las Cl\u00ednicas Veterinarias y laboratorios de diagn\u00f3stico de la Facultad, lo que permite realizar una intervenci\u00f3n eficiente que implica la estabilizaci\u00f3n de la especie afectada y luego la intervenci\u00f3n, cuidados intensivos y manejo pertinentes, de manera de poder recuperar y liberar a los animales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Centro de Rescate y Rehabilitaci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de su rol propiamente tal, de contribuir a la preservaci\u00f3n de las especies silvestres, cumple un importante papel educativo, permitiendo que las personas, en especial los j\u00f3venes adquieran conciencia sobre la importancia de preservar la fauna y as\u00ed el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El reconocimiento municipal fue destacado por el Rector de la UdeC, Sergio Lavanchy, en el acto de celebraci\u00f3n de los 98 a\u00f1os de la instituci\u00f3n. \u201cEs gratificante saber que la Ilustre Municipalidad de Chill\u00e1n haya decidido otorgar este reconocimiento al este Centro, que dirige el acad\u00e9mico, Dr. Daniel Gonz\u00e1lez. Mis felicitaciones para el profesor y sus colaboradores por este notable reconocimiento, el que entrega una oportunidad de desarrollo y mejoramiento en beneficio de esta l\u00ednea de
